Events Celebrating the Life of Marilyn Buck
1947 – 2010
Memorials will be held in the Bay Area, New York City, and Puerto Rico (others may yet be announced). Marilyn was honored in a Black August gathering in Dallas and celebrated at Sparks Fly last March.
Bay Area Memorial Celebration November 7
November 7 from 4-7 at the First Unitarian Church on 14th Street in Oakland.
New York Memorial and Freedom Dance November 13
A memorial will be held for Marilyn Buck on Saturday November 13, 4:30–7:00 p.m. at the Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Center, 3949 Broadway, Manhattan, followed by dinner and a Freedom Dance for political prisoners. For a copy of the flyer (one page PDF) click here.

An event for Marilyn is being planned in Puerto Rico. Details will be posted here as well as on the blog Marilyn Buck ¡Presente!
